I’m an instructor at the Department of Computer Science at the University of the Philippines Diliman. In my first year of teaching, I’ve handled the following subjects:
As you can see, there’s a lot of computers involved in computer science.
For some reason I decided to handle midyear classes (something my past self would never have imagined). As of now, I’m handling CS 11 and CS 31 (math for computers).
Ok, enough with the boring stuff.
I’m currently going through a card deck for 漢検２級. I think it won’t be until next year before I have a decent shot at passing, but there’s progress (I think my best mock to date has been points, out of the points needed to pass).
For reasons definitely unrelated to Blue Archive, I’m now learning Korean. I’m not sure when I’ll tangibly feel a baseline level of proficiency, but it’ll happen someday. At the very least, I can read characters and understand relatively simple sentences.
I have no clue what the higher education timeline is going to look like for me. I wonder if I ever will.
My Global server account in Blue Archive is starting to become a powerhouse, except for the fact that my (relatively) low bond levels are preventing me from even entering the critmald arena. I guess that’s my next goal…

Kidding aside, there’s some very exciting stuff we’re doing on the pedagogy side of things, especially now that agentic coding is becoming much more effective. One of our current main goals is to make a nested DAG meant to empower self-directed learning for the department’s students. It’s pretty cool!
I’m starting to think my language learning hobbies are going to prevent me from ever becoming beyond-decent in competitive programming. At the same time, it’s something I’m starting to accept. You can’t do everything in life…
